The News club is an initiative led by a mixture of law students and graduates. The aim of TNC is to help others enhance their commercial awareness through weekly news discussions.

We meet every Sunday from 5pm to discuss a current news article or topic from the week. Topics are shared in advance on our WhatsApp group chat during the week before Sunday. Our aim is to critically examine news stories and their effect using the PESTLE format. Thus, gaining commercial awareness. There are no wrong or right answers and we’re all on this journey together.
We want the TNC to be a friendly and relaxed space open to everyone.Whether you want to come along to share your ideas or just listen. There is always a place for you at the TNC!
Alongside our weekly discussion, we often host regular commercial awareness events and Q&A sessions with guest speakers. Our guest speakers include partners, associates and trainees at some of the top UK law firms.
